BELLRINGER
T: While out snow machining in the woods during spring break, I ran across the wreckage of a downed plane. It was obvious that it was an old wreck. Although the plane’s wreckage was somewhat charred, some odds and ends had escaped virtually intact. I was turning to leave when I saw 2 briefcases that had somehow survived with minimal damage. However, the corner of one had opened. I could just glimpse what appeared to be money. Drawn in by this find, I opened the briefcase to discover it contained $1 million. (5 minute Timed Write)
