OBJECTIVES
To learn the Hebrew stories that influenced and informed Western literature
To explore story elements through the stories
To practice first or third person narrative writing
To show understanding of literary devices by incorporating 2
To utilize peer-editing

BELLRINGER
Genre: tragicomedy
Person: a psychic, pizza-delivery woman
Problem: there’s a funeral, but the casket is empty

Use these words:
Insidious (adjective): treacherous, crafty, & harmful in a sneaky way
Jamboree (noun): large, boisterous celebration or party; noisy merrymaking

AGENDA
Students will peer-edit each other’s narratives
Revise as necessary
Prepare for dramatic readings
