How would you define the term “single story”?
Is it positive or negative?
Consider an immigrant, a foreigner, a disabled person, a garbage collector, or an elderly person. What happens when society holds a “single story” of them?

AGENDA:
Watch about the first 7 minutes of Chimamanda Adichie’s speech, “The Danger of a Single Story
Note taking/discussion/answer questions
Take notes through the remainder of the film
Write a persuasive essay based on one of the questions/quotes

HOMEWORK:
